Has there ever been another time in our life when we were more aware of and connected with our immediate families?! One silver lining to social distancing has been the amount of time we have with these people we call ours.
On May 15th, we are recognizing the International Day of Families and it’s a chance to let our families know how important they are to us.
To mark the day, here are some family activity ideas to mix up your routine and have some FUN with the people you love most...
❤️ Take a virtual trip! - Museums and other amazing sites all around the world have incredible virtual experiences available right now – these ones are great for kids!
❤️ Go on a scavenger hunt in your home and yard! - Set up one for your kids to follow and maybe even have them create one for you, too! We have tons of free scavenger hunts available on our activities page!
❤️ Set up a backyard campout! - If the weather isn’t cooperating, camp out inside instead! Tents, forts, and sleeping bags can go in the living room, too.
❤️ Have a “spa day” at home! - Manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, new hairstyles ...pamper yourselves together!
❤️ Create some beautiful art together! - Pull out the markers, crayons, colored pencils – whatever you have! And, if you’re looking for more ideas, grab this week’s FREE printables.
