At Purple Ladybug we’re all about you and your kids. Because we’re like you! 
 

Purple Ladybug is our family-run toy and craft kit business inspired by what we want for our kids: opportunity for creativity and self-expression in a safe way... while enjoying some screen-free time and having FUN!  

 

The inspiration for Purple Ladybug started in our own home. 

 

Whenever we scrolled through social media, we saw a feed full of Pinterest-worthy crafts. But honestly, we didn’t have the time, patience or supplies on-hand to replicate them. 

 

What we really wanted were simple, kid-friendly craft kits to keep our kids happy, busy, and creative. We weren’t striving to make Pinterest-perfect crafts at our kitchen table, we just wanted to give our kids a chance to express themselves while still making something they’d be proud of... and then, not having too much to clean up before dinner! 

 

So, with our family’s enthusiasm and support, we decided to jump in and start Purple Ladybug. Our first task was to pick a brand name. Like so much else with us, it was our kids’ idea! One daughter called out her favorite color and another immediately called out the bug that always brought her joy and delight.

 

And just like that, a family-friendly craft brand was born.  

 

To this day, our kids – and yours -- are still at the heart of everything we do.  

 

When we say our kids test our products, we mean it! Our children and their friends play, create, and experiment with every Purple Ladybug product. They make suggestions for changes that we often incorporate.   
We value their ideas and use their feedback to improve our products so that your kids will love them too.  

 

Our very first product was a Sticker Mega Pack because stickers bring a thrill to kids of all ages. Since then, we’ve expanded to a wide range of craft kits.  

 

Some of the products we are best known for include Prismic 3D DIY Puzzle Lanterns, SunGemmers sun catcher craft kits, Decorate your own water bottle kits, CharmWow jewelry kits and our annual Gorgeous Gifts Advent calendar – updated every year with 24 of that year’s trendiest and most incredible toys, craft kits and accessories. 
 
 

We love making families happy! It brings us joy to know that millions of kids, their parents, grandparents and teachers enjoy Purple Ladybug products.
