“A good friend is like a four-leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have.” - Irish Proverb 🍀🍀
Are you lucky enough to have good friends in your life? You know, the ones that you can call up on your worst days or the first ones you share happy news with. Good friends are to be ⭐TREASURED⭐!!
So, why not have a day to celebrate them? 🎉🎉🎉
Friendship Day was started in 1919 by Hallmark, but faded in the 1940s. Then, in 1998, Winnie the Pooh was named the world’s Ambassador of Friendship by the United Nations (seriously!) and in 2011, the U.N. began recognizing International Friendship Day.
It’s easy to celebrate one friend at a time on their birthdays, but why not celebrate all of your friends with one BIG celebration of FUN? Here are a few of our suggestions for a FRIENDS DAY EXTRAVAGANZA (even Pooh bear would approve!):
Remember, the focus is on celebrating each other – not stressing over what you do! If hosting a party is too overwhelming, meet up for coffee, go to a movie, or plan a group hang out online. Your friends have got your back and are just happy to hang out with YOU! 💗
In the spirit of friendship, we wanted to say THANK YOU for connecting with US. We value and appreciate you.
We hope you find some time to connect with your best friends (holiday or not!).
