Many traditional vacations arenât happening this summer, but there are lots of fun camping options available! Have you heard of bamping (camping in your back yard), pamping (on patios) or lamping (camping in your living room)?!Â
No matter what you chose, time together snuggled in sleep bags, playing games, roasting marshmallows, and watching for shooting stars is sure to make for some incredible memories!Â
Here are some of our camping tips for your whole family...Â
â Glow sticks make fantastic nightlights â plus, the kids always love them!Â
â Donât skimp on the bug spray or the sunscreen! (We learned this the hard way!)Â
â If you have young kids, use pool noodles on your tent guy lines (they will slip right on if you cut a slip down the side of them) â this makes for way less tripping around the campsite!Â
â Precook as much of your food as you can!Â
â Bring bubbles, games, balls, and sidewalk chalk for entertainment!Â
â Research star constellations before leaving for your camping trip! - This way your kids (and you) know what to look for in the night sky. And, when you return home, you can create star art or dive into some of our free camping coloring pages as you remember your fabulous trip.Â
