FREE Printable: New Year Activity Sheets "Counting Down to 2020 WITH Your Kids"

Being a parent on New Year’s Eve looks a little different than the last day of year did before you had kiddos...

But, just because you aren’t dressing to the nines and drinking something bubbly as you dance the night away, doesn’t mean you can’t have a BLAST counting down as a family!

Here are a few of our favorite ways to ring in 2020 with your kids...

🥂 Netflix countdowns – Your kids can have their very own countdown with their favorite characters ANY TIME YOU WANT on New Year’s Eve! 8 p.m., here we come!
🥂 Find a place to watch fireworks – Grab warm clothes, a big blanket, and go see fireworks in your town.
🥂 Go ice skating or take a winter hike – There are plenty of active ways to spend New Year’s Eve day...which may make getting your kids to bed at a reasonable time that much easier. 😉
🥂 Play dress up – Who says you can’t be fancy while ringing in the new year at home? Let your kids put on ALL the sparkles and sequins in their toy box and be sure to wear your shiniest jewelry, tooBetter yet, let me them choose your attire and accessories! Have fun with it!
🥂 Have a dance party! - Add all your kids’ favorites to a playlist and dance it out in the middle of the living room.
🥂 Craft time – Make homemade holiday crackers, decorate crowns, or grab this week’s free printables!
🥂 Game night - Break out your family’s favorite board or card games and spend the evening playing and laughing together.
🥂 Make family resolutions – Want to travel more in 2020? Want to try new foods or activities as a family? New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to talk with your kids about goals and dreams for the coming year!

However you are spending New Year’s Eve, we hope you are safe and having FUN with those you love most! Take care and we’ll see you in 2020!
