You probably don’t have to look very far in your community (or home!) to find hard-working people.

Whether you’re a small business owner, a boss, an employee, a freelancer, a parent, or anything in between, you deserve a break this Labor Day!

Labor Day is a chance to recognize the workers in our country and how they contribute to our collective strength, prosperity, and well-being. THANK YOU all for doing your part!

Now, pull up a lawn chair or hammock and enjoy this LONG WEEKEND as we say goodbye to the sweet summertime!

I don’t know about things at your house, but summer has flown by for our kids (and us!) and we’re super grateful to have this holiday to soak in the sun and be together before the fall season begins.

Here are some ideas of ways to spend your Labor Day...

☀️ Have a cookout in your backyard or at the local park! Invite the neighbors, extended family, or whoever you want to celebrate the day with!
☀️ Enjoy some FUN IN THE SUN (with sunscreen, of course) by the pool, at the lake, or on the beach!
☀️ Plan a mini-vacation getaway or even “staycation” to play tourist in your own city.
☀️ Have a game day with your family! Let everyone choose their favorite indoor and outdoor games and have a BALL!
☀️ Take in a baseball game or head to an end of summer carnival! Basically, anywhere that serves hot dogs outside will work.
☀️ Attend your town’s Labor Day parade! Floats, waving, marching bands, candy being tossed in the air – what's not to love?
☀️ Download this week’s activity sheetto bring in the car to keep the kiddos entertained on the drive between your adventures!

Whatever your plans, enjoy these last fleeting days of summer with your family! Before we know it, it will be time for pumpkins and trick-or-treating!
