What's in your kit:

  • 28 Charms

  • 6 Headbands

  • 48 Glue Dots

  • 3 Strips of Decorative Fabric

  • 3 Strips of Double-Sided Tape

Style Your Own Headbands

Before You Begin

  • Set up your work area first. Lay down paper towels to catch any mess.
  • Lay out everything in the kit so it's all within reach before you begin.
  • Work on a clean, flat surface.
  • Look through the 6 headbands, decorative fabric strips, charms, adhesive dots, and double-sided tape.
  • Plan how you want each headband to look before sticking anything down.
  • Adult supervision is recommended because the kit contains small parts.

Step 1: Plan Your Headband Design

  • Choose one of the headbands.
  • Decide whether you want to decorate it with charms only, decorative fabric strips, or both.
  • Arrange the pieces on the headband before attaching them.
  • Move the decorations around until you are happy with the layout.

Step 2: Add Charms Directly to the Headband

  • Choose the charms you want to use.
  • Peel one adhesive dot from its protective backing.
  • Place the adhesive dot onto the headband.
  • Place the charm on top of the adhesive dot.
  • Press the charm and headband together firmly to help create a secure bond.
  • Repeat with additional charms as desired.

Step 3: Add a Decorative Fabric Strip

  • Choose one of the decorative fabric strips.
  • Take a strip of double-sided tape.
  • Peel away the protective film from one side of the tape.
  • Place the tape along the headband, making sure it is centered.
  • Peel away the protective film from the other side.
  • Carefully place the decorative fabric strip over the tape.
  • Make sure the fabric strip is lined up evenly.
  • Press gently along the entire length of the strip so it sticks securely.

Step 4: Add Charms Over the Fabric

  • Once the decorative strip is attached, choose the charms you want to add.
  • Use the adhesive dots to attach the charms on top of the decorative strip.
  • Press each charm firmly into place.
  • Continue decorating until you are happy with your design.

Step 5: Create More Headbands

  • Repeat the same process with the remaining headbands.
  • Try different combinations of fabric strips and charms.
  • Use the natural headband color as the background if you do not want to add a decorative strip.
  • Create a different design for each of the 6 headbands.

Step 6: Let the Adhesive Set

  • Place the finished headbands somewhere safe.
  • Allow the adhesive some time to set before wearing them.
  • The longer you allow the adhesive to set, the better the hold will be.
  • Once secure, your personalized headbands are ready to wear or share with friends.
