Before you start:
- Set up your work area first. Lay down paper towels to catch drips and spills.
- Lay out everything in the kit so it's all within reach before you begin.
- Remove all activities and supplies from the clear zipped carry pouch.
- Keep small pieces together so they do not get lost during travel.
- Have an adult help younger children with activities that include small parts.
Steps:
1. LCD Doodle Tablet
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Use the LCD doodle tablet to draw, write or doodle.
- Step 2: Sketch pictures, practise letters or use it to play games.
- Step 3: Check the included Games on the Go card for more activity ideas.
- Step 4: When you are finished, press the clear button once to erase the screen.
- Step 5: Start again and create something new.
Important Safety Notes
- The tablet contains one CR2025 coin cell battery.
- Adult assembly is required for the battery compartment.
- Do not allow children to access the battery compartment.
- Battery replacement must be performed by an adult.
- Keep new and used coin cell batteries away from children.
- Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not mix different battery types or new and used batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the terminals.
- Remove batteries if the product is damaged or not working properly.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- If a battery is swallowed, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
2. Magnetic Building Fun Tiles
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Choose the magnetic tiles you want to use.
- Step 2: Connect the magnetic edges of the tiles together.
- Step 3: Create towers, scenes, shapes or your own mini world.
- Step 4: Build flat 2D pictures or connect the tiles to make 3D creations.
- Step 5: When travelling, build on the lid or sides of the kit to help keep your creation from sliding around.
- Step 6: Try making flat pictures on the lid or taller structures that grip the bottom.
- Step 7: Take your creation apart and build something new.

- Magnets that stick together or attach to metal through skin can cause serious internal injuries.
- Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed or inhaled.
3. Fidget Squishy Cube
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Hold the squishy cube in your hand.
- Step 2: Squish, stretch or squeeze it.
- Step 3: Continue playing with it whenever you want some movement or something to keep your hands busy.
- Step 4: Handle it gently to help prevent damage.
Important Safety Notes
- Choking hazard due to small parts.
- Not for children under 3 years.
- Do not put the toy in your mouth, chew it or swallow it.
- Do not throw, excessively bend or forcefully stretch the toy.
- Discontinue use and discard immediately if damaged.
4. Noodle Maze Fidget Toy
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Arrange the noodles on the board.
- Step 2: Create your own patterns or trace the maze.
- Step 3: Use the grid to help guide your shapes.
- Step 4: Fill the board with your own designs.
- Step 5: When you are finished, pull the noodles out.
- Step 6: Rearrange them and create a new design.

5. Vinyl Window Cling Stickers
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Choose the window clings you want to use.
- Step 2: Stick them onto a window to decorate it and begin your travel countdown.
- Step 3: As you get closer to your destination, peel the clings off one at a time.
- Step 4: Use the time marker clings if they match your travel time.
- Step 5: You can also use the encouraging word clings during your trip.
- Step 6: Watch your progress as more clings are removed.
- Step 7: Save the reusable clings so you can use them again on another trip.
6. Wax Craft Sticks: General Use
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Choose the wax craft sticks you want to use.
- Step 2: Bend, twist and shape the sticks into your desired design.
- Step 3: Press the sticks together to connect them.
- Step 4: Create flat designs or build 3D creations by layering and wrapping the sticks.
- Step 5: Flat creations can also be placed on a window.
- Step 6: When you are finished, pull the sticks apart.
- Step 7: Reshape them to create something new.
7. Wax Craft Sticks: Butterfly
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Choose one wax craft stick for the butterfly's body.
- Step 2: Shape it into a short, thicker body as shown in the booklet.
- Step 3: Choose another stick and coil it into an oval shape to make the first top wing.
- Step 4: Press the wing onto one side of the body.
- Step 5: Coil another stick into a matching oval.
- Step 6: Press the second top wing onto the other side of the body.
- Step 7: Use two more sticks to make two smaller oval shapes for the bottom wings.
- Step 8: Attach one smaller wing below each top wing.
- Step 9: Take another stick and bend it into a U shape.
- Step 10: Attach the U-shaped stick to the top of the butterfly to create the antennae.
- Step 11: Press all the pieces together gently to keep your butterfly connected.
8. Wax Craft Sticks: Explorer Glasses
Make the Frames
- Step 1: Take two wax craft sticks.
- Step 2: Twist them together to make a stronger frame.
- Step 3: Bend the twisted sticks into a circle.
- Step 4: Press the ends together to close the circle.
- Step 5: Repeat these steps to make a second circle.
Connect the Frames
- Step 6: Place the two circles next to each other.
- Step 7: Take another wax craft stick and bend it into a U shape.
- Step 8: Place the U-shaped stick between the two circles.
- Step 9: Wrap each end around one of the circles to connect them.
- Step 10: If the connecting stick is still long, wrap it around again.
Make the Arms
- Step 11: Take two wax craft sticks and bend them into curved lines.
- Step 12: For thicker arms, twist a few sticks together before shaping them.
- Step 13: Attach one arm to each side of the glasses.
- Step 14: Curve the ends so they can sit along the sides of your head.
- Step 15: Hold the glasses up to your face and see how they look.
9. Sticky Googly Eyes
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Choose where you would like to place the googly eyes.
- Step 2: Use them on your craft creations or other suitable objects around you.
- Step 3: Press the googly eyes onto the surface.
- Step 4: Only use them on smooth surfaces where they can be easily removed.

- Not for children under 3 years.
- Do not put the googly eyes in your mouth.
- Do not chew or swallow them.
10. Make a Paper Fortune Teller
You Will Need
- One square piece of paper
- Marker
Fold the Paper
- Step 1: Fold one corner of the square paper to the opposite corner to make a triangle.
- Step 2: Press along the fold, then open the paper again.
- Step 3: Fold the other corners the same way, one at a time, opening the paper after each fold.
- Step 4: When opened, the fold lines should form an X across the paper.
- Step 5: Fold the paper in half by bringing the top edge down to the bottom edge.
- Step 6: Press the fold, then open the paper.
- Step 7: Turn the paper and fold it in half again in the other direction.
- Step 8: Open the paper. All the fold lines should meet in the centre.
- Step 9: Fold one corner into the centre where the lines cross.
- Step 10: Press it flat.
- Step 11: Repeat with the other three corners.
- Step 12: The paper should now look like a smaller square.
- Step 13: Flip the paper over.
- Step 14: Fold all four corners into the centre again.
- Step 15: Press the folds flat to create an even smaller square.
Add the Numbers, Colours and Fortunes
- Step 16: Write the numbers 1 to 8 on the small triangles.
- Step 17: Write the names of four colours on the outside flaps.
- Step 18: Lift each numbered flap.
- Step 19: Write one short fortune underneath each numbered flap.
- Step 20: Keep the writing small enough to fit.
- Step 21: Add eight fortunes in total.
How to Play
- Step 1: Slide your fingers under the flaps.
- Step 2: Ask someone to choose a colour.
- Step 3: Spell the colour aloud while moving the fortune teller once for each letter.
- Step 4: Move the fortune teller sideways for one letter, then forward and back for the next, alternating as you spell.
- Step 5: Ask the player to choose a number.
- Step 6: Count the number aloud while moving the fortune teller.
- Step 7: Ask the player to choose one final number.
- Step 8: Lift the matching flap.
- Step 9: Read the fortune written underneath.
11. Air Dry Clay: General Use
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Step 1: Choose the clay colours you want to use.
- Step 2: Squish, shape and mould the clay into your desired creation.
- Step 3: Make animals, foods or anything else you can imagine.
- Step 4: Mix colours together if you want to create new colours.
- Step 5: When you are happy with your creation, leave it undisturbed.
- Step 6: Allow it to air dry for 24 hours so it hardens and keeps its shape.
Colour Mixing Ideas
- Red + Yellow = Orange
- Blue + Yellow = Green
- Red + Blue = Purple
Important Safety Notes
- Keep the clay away from eyes.
- Wash hands after use.
- Do not eat or drink while using this product.
12. Air Dry Clay: Rainbow Rocket Ship
Make the Body
- Step 1: Take a piece of clay for the rocket body.
- Step 2: Roll and shape it into a cylinder.
- Step 3: Stand the cylinder upright.
Add the Cone
- Step 4: Take another piece of clay.
- Step 5: Shape it into a cone.
- Step 6: Attach the cone to the top of the rocket body.
Add the Legs
- Step 7: Make three small pieces of clay.
- Step 8: Shape each piece into a pointed fin or leg.
- Step 9: Attach the three fins around the bottom of the rocket.
Add the Window
- Step 10: Take a small piece of clay and shape it into a round piece.
- Step 11: Flatten it slightly to create the window.
- Step 12: Press the window onto the front of the rocket.
Let It Dry
- Step 13: Place the finished rocket somewhere safe where it will not be disturbed.

Step 14: Let it air dry for 24 hours so it hardens and keeps its shape.
